When you subscribe to HBPD Community Connect, we may collect your name, email address, mobile telephone number, selected notification categories, signup date and time, IP address, consent method, consent disclosure version, and message delivery or opt-out records.
How We Use Information
We use this information to provide the email and text notifications you request, verify mobile subscriptions, manage notification preferences, honor opt-out requests, troubleshoot delivery, protect the service, and comply with applicable recordkeeping or legal obligations.
Mobile Information and SMS Consent
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing. We may provide information to service providers, including messaging platforms and mobile carriers, only as needed to operate and deliver the HBPD Community Connect messaging service.
Your Choices
You may unsubscribe from text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help. Email messages include an unsubscribe link, and subscribers may use the preference link provided in notification messages to update selected categories. See the SMS Terms for additional program details.
Retention and Security
We retain subscription, consent, delivery, and opt-out records for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the notification service, document consent, meet public-record or legal requirements, and protect the service. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet or mobile messaging system can guarantee absolute security.
